2026 Types of Summer Programming
Toledo Met offers several categories of summer programming. There are weekly intensives and weekly camps, clinics and trainings. In addition, all classes are open to drop ins. Drop in pricing is listed next to each class eligible for drop in attendance.
Weekly Schedule - All Toledo Met summer program runs in weekly increments. We have found that this schedule offers families the flexiblity they need to avoid paying for multi-week summer sessions that interfere with vacations or other summer time commitments.
- What's an Intensive? An Intensive is a week long, rigorous performing arts program taught be a highly skilled, professional guest teacher.
- What's a Camp/Clinic? A camp or clinic is a weekly program that is themed and is taught by a combination of Toledo Met faculty members.
- What's a Training Week? A "training week" is a series of classes scheduled in the same week and are specially designed for a specific level of dancer. Training weeks are taught by a combination of Toledo Met faculty members. Training weeks allow dancers to purchase a " class package" and is less expensive than purchasing the classes a la carte.
- Drop In Classes - Each week there are several late afternoon or evening classes that can be purchased individually for the "drop in" price. When dropping in to a class, just show up. There is not need to let us know you are coming.
- Volume Discounts Available - Students who register in more than one Intensive or more than one Camp/Clinic/Training Week are eligible for discount pricing. UBC Advanced Classical Variations Clinic

This clinic is for advanced pre-professional dancers who have auditioned and been admitted to the 2026-27 UBC classical variations competition track.
Dancers will begin the day with an advanced ballet class and move on to learn various variations. After lunch, dancers will move through different studios and work with Toledo Met instructors to learn their classical ballet competition choreography for the 2026-27 season.

Dance Video Making Clinic

Join Toledo Met's Sylvie Vitaglione and Emma Cole to learn all about shooting effective dance videos for social media sharing and audition purposes. All dancers attending must bring their own apple or android phones/tablets with ample storage space for the program.
Nutcracker Preschool Camp

Toledo Met's most popular summer intensive is back and better than ever. Students will meet in the beautiful University of Toledo Center for Performing Arts to complete daily classes in acting, voice, musical theater dance with a special workshop dance video creation for social media and audition. This week will culminate in a performance for family and friends at UT at 1:30 pm on Friday, July 17, 2026.
